INFORMATION WE COLLECT

  3. License Activation and Machine Linking: License key, MAC address, device name, location, usage data, and sales reports.
  4. User Activity and Location Tracking: IP address, device activity, and location data via Google Analytics, system logs, and captive portal sessions.
  5. Customer Support: Name, license information, machine ID, and messages.
  6. Marketing and Communication: Email address, name, and user activity including location and behavior.
  7. Payment and Transaction Handling: Name, email address, phone number, and billing details via GCash, PayPal, Maya, and bank transfers. WifiCone does not store sensitive financial data; only transaction logs are retained.
  8. Sales and Usage Analytics: Sales logs and usage statistics including IP address, MAC address, session time, and data consumed.

HOW WE COLLECT INFORMATION

We collect information:

  1. Through our website and captive portal when users connect to WiFi vendo machines.
  2. When machine owners activate licenses or configure devices.
  3. From system logs and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics.
  4. Through customer support channels including email and Facebook Messenger.
  5. From partner platforms and in-dashboard announcements.

PURPOSE OF PROCESSING

We process your personal data for the following lawful purposes:

  1. To create and manage user accounts.
  2. To authenticate and secure access to WiFi vendo services.
  3. To activate and manage licenses while preventing unauthorized duplication.
  4. To improve product performance and conduct analytics.
  5. To provide customer support and resolve technical issues.
  6. To deliver marketing promotions and product updates.
  7. To facilitate payment transactions.
  8. To generate usage reports and diagnostics for machine owners.

STORAGE AND RETENTION

  1. User Accounts are stored in encrypted cloud databases for up to 2 years after the last activity.
  2. Machine Logs are retained for 1 month.
  3. Transaction Logs are retained per internal policy, with a minimum retention of 1 week.
  4. Support Logs are retained indefinitely until a formal deletion system is in place.

All data is secured with encryption in transit and at rest, SSL/TLS, password hashing, firewalls, and Cloudflare security infrastructure.

DATA ACCESS

Your data is accessed only by:

  1. You, the account holder or end-user.
  2. Authorized internal administrators with limited, role-based access.
  3. License owners, for machine-linked data relevant to their devices.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by applicable law or a lawful order.

YOUR RIGHTS

As a data subject under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the right to:

  1. Be informed about how your personal data is collected and used.
  2. Access your personal data held by WifiCone.
  3. Request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete data.
  4. Request erasure or blocking of data that is no longer necessary.
  5. Object to the processing of your personal data.
  6. Withdraw your consent to processing at any time.
  7. File a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) at www.privacy.gov.ph.
